An avid scuba diver for many years, Cindy began taking photograghs underwater in 1997. Having traveled to shoot photos in a diverse set of environments, such as Fiji, Indonesia, Palau, Australia and Hawaii, her catalogue of photos ranges from wide angle shots of pelagics to macro shots of reef creatures and corals. Cindy has produced three calendars which mainly focus on her underwater shots. She also has a large display of photograghic canvases in the Heart and Vascular Center at Maui Memorial Hospital in Hawaii. Since moving to Maui three years ago, Cindy has increased the scope of her work to include surf and landscape photography. Her shots at Peahi (a.k.a. "Jaws") have been finalists in the Billabong Big Wave contest and used in published advertising. Cindy and her husband love living on the North Shore of Maui with their two young children. In addition to photography, Cindy enjoys keeping physically fit with running and surfing.
